new york city vacation

When I began my first year in High School, I was so nervous about my grades. I had been able to keep up a 4.0 since I began going to school and I was worried that I would bend under the pressure of High School. I knew that there would be many more obstacles ahead of me on my way to a good college, I was only hoping to find a way to keep on my game. I was so happy when my dad gave me the inspiration I needed to succeed, he told me that if I kept up my 4.0, he would take me on a New York City vacation. 

I had always wanted to go on a New York City vacation and I knew that with that in my mind, I would be able to keep my grades up. When my last report card came out and I had achieved my constant 4.0 GPA, I screamed and ran around the house to tell my dad. All I had to do was hand it over to him and he knew, we were already on our way to our New York City vacation. I had a wonderful time and I felt even better about the New York City vacation because I really earned it.
