new york city vacation

Whenever I have a trip to take, whether it be business or pleasure, I absolutely always bring a journal with me. I do not bring just any journal with me though, I always make a specific one for the place I am going to. One of my most favorite traveling journals I kept was from when I went on a New York City vacation a few years ago. I made my New York City vacation journal to look like the major hot tourists spots in the city, so it was really cute and creative.

When I got home from my New York City vacation with all of my stories, observations and even poetry about the place, many of my friends and family members came over for a dinner party and a reading from my journal. I could see everyone really connecting with my vision and portrayal of my adventure and I felt very proud that I was being so open with my art.

From hearing my tales out of my New York City journal, many of my friends have since planned trips to New York themselves. Each one who has, has taken my advice and kept a journal as well. It is truly a wonderful experience to journal through a New York City vacation.
