I've never been to New York City, but if I ever do go I would love to see the Statue of Liberty.  What a wonderful symbol it is and a national landmark.  I've traveled to many states and seen a lot of landmarks, but not yet the Statue of Liberty.  She stands proud in the New York Harbor welcoming people in to our country.  The Statue of Liberty was given to the United States of America by the people of France in 1886 to celebrate it's centennial.  Someday I want to go and see the Statue of Liberty in person, and hopefully walk to the top and look out.  My husband and I love to travel, so it would be fun to go alone with him and visit the Statue of Liberty in New York.  I've seen great deals online for cheap hotels in New York and cheap vacation deals.  Someday we will make that trip and see the Statue of Liberty, the national landmark.  When we do I'll be looking online for the best deals and the cheapest hotels available.
