I would love to plan a New York City vacation |

Back in 1999 I visited my cousin in Boston, a couple months before he graduated from medical school. While there for the weekend, we got into his car and he drove us to New York to see the city and his brother, who was in dental school. We never found his brother, who was probably hidden away some place, studying, but we did walk around New York City for a few hours. My cousin took me to see Times Square; we went into Macy's and were back on the road for Boston around dinnertime.
Unfortunately because I was so tired and my cousin wasn't exactly the best tour guide, I didn't get to see as much as I wanted to. I would love to see a Broadway play or two, even though I go to the theater here in Chicago when I can. I still would love to actually see something on Broadway. Which is why I would love to plan a New York City vacation some day. I'm sure I'd need to plan to stay at least a week to see a lot of the things New York City has to offer. I don't know when I'll be able to go but I will most likely be looking at cheap hotels in New York as opposed to some place like the Waldorf Astoria. Although who knows, I may some day have the funds to stay in a place like the Waldorf. Either way I won't let my New York City vacation be dampened by having to stay in cheap hotels in New York. After all, I stayed in a cheap motel on my last vacation to Florida and still had a great time down there. The motel was nice and the important thing was spending time with friends I hadn't seen in close to 20 years.
