They are working with American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Delta and Germanwings to provide travelers with the opportunity to buy Broadway tickets while flying to New York. This could be a great way to book a show before you land in the Big Apple.

The carriers listed will have handheld Guestlogix devices that will let travelers pick out and purchase shows during the flight. I am not sure if they will be selling tickets at a discount but it will save time trekking over the box office to see if any seats are left.

Guestlogix hopes that this plan will add to their profits; if there is no discount I wouldn’t bank on it. I don’t see why this is any better than booking online before the flight but I am sure some will use the service.
