I have never been on a New York City vacation, but some day I intend to get there. Several years ago my youngest son set out with some buddies on a road trip and they headed across the country with New York City as a final destination. He raved about the sights and sounds of that city and totally loved the experience. Everything from the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty to the Waldorf Hotel they went around and checked out. They even ventured onto the New York City subway which was a ride all its own. He says the New York skyline is unbelievable and worth the trip out to see. Then there are the New York Mets and the New York Yankees that attract the sports minded to the area. My plans are to some day search on the internet for vacation deals that will set me up with a fantastic New York City vacation where I will get to see some of the sights and feel some of the atmosphere for myself.
